Fishing Safari's

If your passion is fishing, we can offer three vessels to choose from. "Anita Rose" and "Fixation" for groups up to 12, and for larger groups of up to 30, the historic 60' "Enterprise" is also available for charter.

All boats are equipped with modern electronics and rigged with quality tackle and live bait holds for serious game fishing, reef/bottom fishing, jigging and trolling. We also have great success with softbaits, and will be happy to share our experience with you if you've never tried them before!

We can target a wide variety of fish ranging from big pelagic game fish with seasonal migration patterns such as marlin, broadbill swordfish, mako shark, kingfish and tuna through to resident territorial species such as hapuka, snapper, terakihi and others. Our expert local knowledge means we can take you to the top fishing spots and increase your chance of a good catch regardless of the time of year!

We offer half and full day saltwater fishing safaris departing from the marina, as well as social evening fishing trips - a popular choice for corporate and customer entertainment with a difference.

For the more adventurous we are always happy to customise 24 hour and multi-day deep sea fishing safaris to the best areas in the Bay of Plenty including Mayor Island, Ranfurly Banks and the Three Kings.

Full rod and tackle hire is available, and we can supply bait and berley or you are welcome to bring your own.
